Privacy Policy
Social Dance Live processes personal data only as needed to provide social dance events, LIVE venue updates, venue features, and advertising services.
Effective date: July 21, 2026
1. Personal data we process
During registration and sign-in, we may process your email address, an identifier supplied by a social sign-in provider, your profile or display name, and language settings.
When you use features such as posters, LIVE updates, comments, saves, reports, beta feedback, advertising applications, or venue submissions, we may store the content you enter, uploaded images, location or venue information, links, and descriptions containing contact details.
To keep the service stable, prevent abuse, and understand usage, we may process access times, page addresses, referrers, device and browser information, an approximate country, region, or city inferred from an IP address, and identifiers stored in cookies or local storage.
2. Why we use personal data
We use the information we collect for account authentication, poster and LIVE publishing, comments and saves, points and rewards, reports and feedback, advertising and landing page management, venue connections, service security, incident analysis, visit statistics, and operational improvements.
When a user requests it, an uploaded poster image may be used for AI analysis. The result is used only to help the user prepare the information for publishing.
3. Retention and deletion
Account information is retained while the account remains active. Account withdrawal ends access and de-identifies the display name, avatar, and email address in the public profile. Public content the user has not deleted and records related to points, transactions, or administration may be retained separately where needed for service consistency, dispute handling, or legal obligations. Advertising cancellation or refunds and separate personal-data deletion requests are handled independently from account withdrawal.
Payment, point, advertising contract, and audit records that must be retained for legal obligations or disputes are kept separately with restricted access for as long as that need exists. When the reason for retention ends, they are deleted in a manner designed to make recovery difficult.
4. Third-party services
Social Dance Live may use Supabase for authentication, database, and storage services and Vercel for hosting and runtime infrastructure. Social sign-in may use Google or Kakao authentication.
Poster image analysis and generative features may use the OpenAI API. In that case, an image or text submitted at the user's request may be transmitted only to the extent needed to perform the requested feature.
5. Possible international processing
The third-party services above may operate servers or facilities in other countries, so personal data or service usage information may be processed outside the user's country or region.
6. Cookies and local storage
We may use cookies or browser local storage to keep users signed in, remember language settings, display saved status, confirm reward notices, analyze visits, and improve the service. Users can limit cookies through browser settings, but some features may not work correctly.
7. User rights
Users may request access to, correction or deletion of, or a restriction on the processing of their personal data. Requests concerning accounts, posts, posters, LIVE updates, comments, and feedback can be submitted through the in-service feedback feature or operator contact channel.
Information that was already public or indexed by a search engine may remain for a period after deletion under a third party's caching or indexing policy.
8. Safeguards
We apply reasonable safeguards such as access permission management, authenticated data access, file-upload restrictions, separation of operational privileges, and security log review. However, the nature of the internet means that no service can eliminate every risk.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as service features, operations, third-party configurations, or applicable laws change. Material changes will be explained through the service or a notice area.
10. Contact
Questions about personal data, deletion requests, and requests to exercise privacy rights can be submitted through the in-service feedback feature or operator contact channel. The operator will review the request and respond within a reasonable period.
