The Esencia Festival 2026 is a bachata festival held at Hotel Occidental Aranjuez in Aranjuez, Spain, from October 16–18, 2026. Aranjuez is a separate city from central Madrid.
Main festival schedule:
• Friday, October 16: Check-in and wristband collection from 15:00; workshops and masterclasses begin at 17:00, followed by shows and an all-night social. Dress code: White Party.
• Saturday, October 17: Workshops begin at 11:00; terrace social from 16:00–20:30, plus workshops, masterclasses, shows, and an all-night social. Dress code: Gala Night.
• Sunday, October 18: Workshops and masterclasses, daytime social from 16:00–20:30, registration, preliminaries, and final of the Esencia World Social Competition, followed by an all-night social continuing into early Monday, October 19. Dress code: Be Yourself.
Venue: Hotel Occidental Aranjuez (main festival), Plaza de la Unesco, 2, Aranjuez, Spain. All times are local Spain time (Europe/Madrid, CEST). The first main-festival workshop starts at 17:00 on October 16; 15:00 is the check-in time.
Madrid pre-events include the Esencia Method Teachers Course at Esencia Studios, C/ Rufino González 14 (currently La Malanga Madrid), October 12–15, daily from 12:00–14:30 and 16:00–18:00. This is a restricted course for preselected participants. Official Madrid pre-parties take place October 14 and 15 from 22:00–03:00 at The Host Club, C/ Ferraz 38, Madrid, and are listed as included with the Full Pass.
Confirmed artists include Ataca, Marco & Sara, Gero & Miglė, Gaby & Estefy, Ronald & Alba, Alfredo & Andrea, Klau & Ros, Grupo Esencia, Miguel & Sunsiré, Angela Mariano & Julian, Cristian & Gabriela, Gio & Josi, Giovana & Rafael, plus DJs Husky, Pier, Lima, and Loves Me.
